Gale S. McKee began drawing and painting at an eary age. She attended Croyden College of Art in England and then went on to receive a BFA from the University of Denver in Colorado. In 1990 she began experimenting with pastels, creating landscapes, still lifes, figure studies and whimsical art. McKee's work is influenced by Raimonds Staprans, Wayne Thiebaud and Richard Diebenkorn.
