I am a full time professional painter. Each of my paintings is an
exploration of the use of line, shape and color. When I am painting I
get lost in the doing of it. I may paint over and over on one painting
or feel that it is finished in a few strokes. There is nothing that I
do that is as satisfying as the act of creating. When I feel a work is
finished I hope some of the emotion in the work conveys a feeling or
a memory and transports the viewer to another place.
